The extraction process produces a vanilla infusion with warm gourmand notes. This process requires exceptional expertise and precision, making vanilla a rare and valuable ingredient in perfumery that must be carefully preserved. Cocoa beans are found inside the cocoa fruit — an elongated pod that grows on the cocoa tree. Cocoa was introduced into perfumery from the food industry. An essence is extracted from cocoa bean powder, revealing the characteristic aroma of dark chocolate — gourmand, slightly bitter and fruity at the same time. Coffee beans come from the coffee plant, a shrub that grows in tropical and equatorial climates. Before the aromatic essence is extracted, the beans are roasted. This process reveals a rich, rounded fragrance with distinctive roasted nuances developed during roasting.
