Active ingredient

Bitter Orange, Iris, Incense

Amber floral. Bitter Orange, also known as Seville orange or bigarade, is the result of a cross between pomelo and mandarin. It is grown in the Mediterranean basin. The fruits are harvested at the beginning of the year to extract from their peel a fragrance that captivates with fruity, juicy and slightly bitter notes. Due to the complex harvesting and extraction process, Iris is considered one of the noblest raw materials in perfumery. After the flowers have bloomed, the rhizomes are harvested and dried for several months, then stored in jute bags for another three years. This creates a unique fragrance combining powdery and chocolate notes. Incense is a resin found in the frankincense tree, which produces it beneath its bark. When the wood is cut, the resin is naturally released under the effect of heat. After harvesting, drying and subsequent distillation, its rich spicy fragrance develops bright citrus nuances.
